2021-2022 Committees

Executive Committee

This committee, chaired by the District Governor and advised by the District Administrator, consists of the District Bulletin Editor, District Secretary, and District Treasurer. Directives for this committee are flexible, and are prescribed at the direction of the District Governor.

Primary Focuses

• Disciplinary Action

• Improvement and execution of the district's Strategic Plan

• Provide support/assistance to all Lieutenant Governors and each other

Review Committee

This committee, chaired by the District Secretary, is responsible for staying up to date on the rules and regulations within our district and Key Club International.

Primary Focuses

• Reviewing and simplifying district bylaws

• Updating various submissions forms and technical topics

• Administering DCON contests and awards

Event Planning Committee

This committee, which is being chaired by the District Treasurer this year, works to help plan major district events with the help of the administrative team.

Primary Focuses

• Writing the Fall Rally and DCON script

• Decorating the event space used for district events

• Promoting district events via social media

Public Relations Committee

This committee, chaired by the District Bulletin Editor, is responsible for running all of MinnDak's social media accounts and keeping up with our online presence.

Primary Focuses

• Making posts and updates to put on the MinnDak Instagram, YouTube, FaceBook, and other platforms

• Creating the annual brand guide

• Assisting the District Bulletin Editor in whatever they may need help with

International Networking Committee

This committee is responsible for forming connections with other districts within Key Club International and keeping up to date with international happenings.

Primary Focuses

• Administering the MinnDak pen pal system

• Researching other districts and coming up with ideas for what things to implement within our district

• Giving the District Bulletin Editor suggestions for website changes

Kiwanis Family Committee

This committee is responsible for promoting the relationships between Key Club and the rest of the Kiwanis Family clubs in the various MinnDak Districts.

Primary Focuses

• Keeping the board up to date on all K-Fam functions

• Creating articles and newsletters about MinnDak's K-Family ties

• Helping to charter new K-Fam clubs within MinnDak

Membership Development Committee

This committee is responsible for helping to create new methods of recruiting and retaining members of the MinnDak Key Club District.

Primary Focuses

• Creating the MinnDak Membership Monthly

• Making resources for clubs regarding membership retention

• Helping LTGs to reactivate and charter clubs

This committee is responsible for promoting the preferred charities and international partners of Key Club International.

Primary Focuses

• Making service partner highlight posts

• Helping to fundraise for the District Project

• Coming up with service projects for district events and the MinnDak Membership Monthly
