Chartering

How To Charter a Key Club:

1. Find interest - to be chartered, a club must have at least 15 members

2. Identify a faculty/staff member at the school to supervise the club as an Advisor

3. Find a Kiwanis club or other community organization willing to sponsor

4. Apply to Kiwanis International for a charter

   1. Charter Fee: $400 (this is normally paid for by the 15+ members)

How To Reactivate a Key Club:

1. Find interest - to be reactivated, a club must have at least 15 members

2. Identify a faculty/staff member at the school to supervise the club as an Advisor

3. Find a Kiwanis club or other community organization willing to sponsor

4. Apply to Kiwanis International for a charter

   1. Charter Fee: $100 (this is normally paid for by the 15+ members) (2021-2022 EDIT: There will be NO reactivation fees for clubs this year - regardless of their reason why)
